. U.S. Route 35 is a north-south United States highway that runs about 412 miles (663 km) towards northwest-southeast from northern Indiana to the western suburbs of Charleston (West Virginia).
. The highway's northern terminus is located in Michigan City (Indiana) at U.S. Route 20. The southern terminus will be in Scott Depot (West Virginia) at Interstate 64.
. At present, the West Virginia segment of the highway has been expanded to four lanes, generally along a completely new route.
. The Ohio segment has already been upgraded to a four-lane highway/freeway linking the West Virginia state line and Trotwood west of Dayton (Ohio).
