. U.S. Route 45, a north-south United States highway. US 45 are a border-to-border route, starting from Lake Superior to the Gulf of Mexico. A sign at the highway's northern terminus note down the whole distance as 1,300 miles (2,092 km).
. At the same time as of 2006, the highway's northern terminus is in Ontonagon, Michigan, at the corner of Ontonagon and River Streets and a few blocks starting from Lake Superior.
. M-64 previously terminated there as well awaiting it’s rerouting in October 2006 to use the recently built Ontonagon River Bridge and its southern terminus is in Mobile, Alabama, by the side of an intersection with U.S. Route 98.
