Oct 08, 2013 Thanks for not letting me down My best friend recently lost her husband and needed to move things from her home in Florida to New Jersey. She was not used to having to deal with these types of things at all and was panicking. The movers she contacted really gave her a hard time. She asked me to help in talking to movers and help get her move started. These guys were professional from the very first phone call to the last piece of material they had to remove, The move was such a breeze all I had to do was tell them were to put things and sign a check, The foreman Will was a gentlemen and knew his craft well. The price was great too, thanks Joy Moving And Storage! I have a canopy bed for my daughter that I swore they wouldn't be able to figure out but they had all the proper tools and know how to take it apart, pack it and most importantly reassemble it so my daughter had a place to rest her head.

These guys made the impossible look easy. I am a retired US Vet living on a budget and I can sure appreciate the care and effort these guys showed moving my household. I am a pack rat so my four bedroom house and garage was stuffed with things I accumulated through the years and Joy Moving And Storage was able to get it all packed and loaded in one day and never thought that could be done.They were great with our move down to sunny Florida. I am very grateful that I choose them because last time I used a mover the results were damages and over charges but this time all went well. A mover I thought maybe I just wouldn't be able to afford to do it but after speaking to Denise and Dart, I was able to have my small shipment loaded with other larger shipments and it saved me a lot of money. They packed up my parents whole life with care as if they were moving their own parents. I really appreciate the attention to detail as well and they were overall very pleasant to work with.

For somebody reading my review about this brand of movers, it would be my heartfelt suggestion to try them out if you need a long distance move, so I once heard somebody saying, "Yes, Joy Moving And Storage movers are good but they are really costly." And today I wonder who said so and why really! I had to shift cartons of computer accessories (hard disks, tablets, laptops, LED’s etc) to some 74 miles in Florida. Considering the nature of merchandise I had, you can well understand how conscious I might have been in the selection of the movers. And thanks God I wasn't mistaken with my choice. When your business is on the line I can say Joy Moving And Storage was up to the task. True Professionals.

What more could I ask for? The price was great and they stuck to their word. I got my items quickly and intact. The crew was super nice and the sales rep NaKesha was their every step of the move. I even had questions after hours and was able to reach someone through live chat. They quoted my move for 100 dollars an hour for a 4 man crew to move my 4 bedroom house to an apartment in the Brooklyn area. One thing I do recommend is to check out all the extra charges, have the air cleared with your booking manager before hiring the service because sometimes it is a little confusing what the actual service includes.They even managed to reassemble the kids bunk beds and I though that would be impossible. Need a mover use these guys you will be pleased.

They moved my apartment as well as my mothers to Virginia. We originally told them we were moving to D.C. and they gave us a special rate, but I found out I was moving a bit north - and they still gave it to us at the same rate! Here are the reasons why I made my apartment changing with Joy Moving And Storage- 1. The representative was very polite and answered my all questions' 2. They were early on both ends 3. Moving team was pleasant, fast and polite 4. Good communication 5. My all belongings were transferred safely without any damages or scratches 6. Price of the service was cheap. They are not beginners experimenting with your precious belongings. They knew how they would handle different objects, which objects to be loaded and unloaded first, which objects to be given extra care and caution and in what time to complete the move! Amazing!

I am very happy and also lucky that I have selected a reliable moving company to relocate our new destination NY in 31of August. I was moved across country from a 3-level, 3-bedroom townhouse to a 3-level, stand-alone residence. They sent me a 4-man crew and one large truck. We have a lot of antiques and fragile items that they did an outstanding job securely packaging and transporting for us. Not one item was broken, scuffed, or banged up. They provided all, the packing tape, blankets, and boxes for items we didn't have packed already like our big flat screen TV's, large mirrors, and glass decor. It was more than a 100% professional move. I even saved some money just by listening to their friendly tips. I would highly recommend Joy Moving And Storage to anyone in the future that is looking to relocate!

The owner will promise you that he can get the job done, but in reality will fall short. Promises are unkept, movers arrive late with no good reason why, and if you have damages the owner will try to weasel out of taking responsibility. Poor customer service, on a day that you need to be relieved of stress. If you don't know for sure, check out the BBB website for complaints that have been filed. I sure wish I would have before I hired these clowns!

He and his company have not even a modicum of care or concern for their clients. I signed a contract for $2,404.58 with Bestway Moving to ship my household items from Virginia to California on May 15, 2013, with the shipment arriving on June 2, 2013. I didn’t have much, just a bed, bedroom furniture, and boxes mostly. Upon delivery, I noticed my bed frame was missing and never delivered. My box spring had many dark, greasy stains. One corner of the box spring was bent. A book case was damaged and a vacuum cleaner was never delivered. Perhaps worst of all, nearly all the 40 or so boxes that were shipped had been opened, re-boxed, and then delivered in a water-logged condition, with severe water damage.
